MCP tools
The MCP server (mcp/server.mjs) lets agents such as Claude read and change your plan through the REST API, using an API key. To set it up, see Connect an agent.
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
create_task |
Create a task. Space, project and labels can be given by name or id. Without a space the task goes in the default space. Tasks are auto-scheduled when they have an estimate. |
update_task |
Change any field of a task. Labels replace the existing set. |
complete_task |
Mark a task as completed. |
list_tasks |
List tasks. Open tasks only unless a status is given or includeCompleted is true. |
get_today |
Today’s schedule, overdue tasks, tasks due today and the day’s counts, in the user’s timezone. |
run_scheduler |
Re-plan all auto-scheduled tasks over the next 14 days, then return the upcoming time blocks. The report lists tasks that are at risk, tasks that did not fit, and oversizedTaskIds — tasks whose estimate is longer than one working day. Suggest splitting an oversized task into smaller tasks, or turning it into a project. |
list_spaces |
List spaces with their projects. |
list_projects |
List projects, optionally in one space. |
list_labels |
List labels with task counts. |
create_label |
Create a label. |
list_documents |
List documents (titles only), optionally in one space or project. |
get_document |
Read a document’s full content. |
create_document |
Create a document (markdown note, spec, reference or link) in a space or project. |
