Each release is published as ghcr.io/deejpotter/day-planner:{version}. Read the entries between your version and the new one before upgrading.

Self-hosting support, not yet in a tagged release:

  • Built-in sign-in: accounts, passwords and sessions are stored in Day Planner’s own database; no outside service is needed.
  • First-run setup: create the first admin with a setup token or ADMIN_EMAIL.
  • Settings: API keys for every user; sign-up policy, users and invitations for admins.
  • External login: optional “Sign in with…” for any OIDC provider.
  • Email: optional SMTP for password resets and invitations.
  • Deployment: a published Docker image, a self-hosting Compose file, a Render Blueprint, /api/health and a startup configuration check.
